Racial Wealth Gap Simulation Workshop

In this interactive workshop we will experience how the same policy can have opposite outcomes for people based on race.

This brilliant teaching tool, developed by Louisville’s Metro United Way, takes participants on a journey through wealth building in America. Along the way, we’ll pause and explore 13 federal policies that have most powerfully accelerated or impeded progress based on race.

The workshop will be held at the Earth and Spirit Center, 1924 Newburg Road in Louisville and led by Trent Findley, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Metro United Way.

We invite you to join us in a safe, confidential, constructive, and engaging space to help elevate the conversation around racial equity. More than 4,000 people have participated in the Racial Wealth Gap Simulation workshop to date.

Hope to see you there for an experience that others have called "eye-opening" and "one of the most compelling experiences our employees have had."
