Anti-Racism Challenge (ARC)

As we have learned, creating a just and more equitable society has to start with awareness. Looking for opportunities to correct our course against racism is a shift in the way we look at the world around us. It must become a habit, and then a way of life.

Thus, we offer quarterly Anti-Racism Challenges (ARC). This is a 28-day program where each Friday morning, we send out a list of anti-racism activities. We ask that you do 3 per week for these 4 weeks. Activities might include reading an article or watching a video on white supremacy, patronizing a Black-owned business, volunteering with or donating to a social justice organization, emailing or calling a political leader, joining a protest, journaling about your own experiences with racism, etc. You’re also encouraged to come up with your own.

We offer a Tracking Tool to help monitor your progress. Through practice, we retrain our brains to recognize racism and proactively work to change it.
